The ~275 members of the Newcomers Club of
Honolulu have been providing a welcoming atmosphere of friendliness and
support to new members for over 40 years.
If you are new to Oahu, you will be glad to know that many of our Club members are relatively
new residents themselves (moving here from many parts of the U.S. and other
countries), and they are eager to share what they have
learned to make your move a positive experience.
We also have members who have lived on Oahu for years (some were born
here), and their in-depth knowledge of the island is helpful as well.
So if you've been here for some time yourself and have just
now learned about Newcomers or you haven't had the time to
participate in the past, you are welcome, too.
Even though our name is The Newcomers Club of Honolulu, some of our
members reside in surrounding communities such as Ewa Beach, Kapolei,
Kaneohe, Kailua and even the North Shore. We also have
"snowbird" members who are here only part of the year.
Membership is open to men and women, and the number of men is
growing.
See our Membership page to join.
Still not sure? You may attend two of our events
before joining. Most prospective members choose the Aloha
Coffee first because it is easy (there is no need to RSVP). We hope
to see you there soon!
